Right in the heart of the district of Trudering is the Gasthof Obermaier, a restaurant steeped in tradition. Whether in the restaurant, a protected historical building in the possession of the family since 1863, or in the wonderful garden, the guest is always surrounded by a pleasant, genuinely Bavarian, leisurely atmosphere. The attached butcher's shop not only provides a broad selection of many different types of specialities, but has also made the Gasthof Obermaier well known far beyond the boundaries of Trudering.
Mainly original Bavarian delicacies are served, but international cuisine is also represented by many dishes. Depending on the time of the year, seasonal specialities and diverse meals are added to the menu.
The Gasthof Obermaier provides seating for 300 guests in the open air, which in no way diminishes the enjoyment of dining, even when the weather is inclement, as the garden can be covered over and heated as required. Children, too, will find what gives them pleasure in the playground without their parents losing sight of them. That means fun and relaxation for the whole family.
Even for larger celebrations or conferences and meetings Gasthof Obermaier offers room for up to 220 guests. So that the ambience is ensured, a florist and decorator are at hand with advice and help in arranging festivities.
