Ever since one of the Augustiner Brewery's finest houses was taken over by Simone and Peter Schmutzer in March 2006 it has enjoyed very great popularity. The ambiance is completely in keeping with Munich cuisine: traditional fare in a relaxed atmosphere.

The excellent service, which always endeavours to ensure the well-being of the guests, is especially responsible for the easygoing atmosphere and individual attention.
Each of the three floors has a bar and is ideally suitable for a wide variety of events and conferences.
An overview of the rooms:
- Domschenke (Cathedral Saloon) – ground floor (up to 80 guests)
- Augustinerstube (Augustiner Room) – 1st floor (up to 100 guests)
- Domblick (Cathedral View) – 2nd floor (for up to 100 guests)
- Domgarten (Cathedral Garden) heated (for up to 80 guests)
- Domterrasse (Cathedral Terrace) (in summer for up to 120 guests, heated in winter, for up to 40 guests and also very attractive for smokers)
Austrian and South Tyrol delicacies are occasionally added to the menu, which for the most part offers Munich dishes. Furthermore, the weekly menu of the Augustiner am Dom regularly includes seasonal and regional specialities.
And even if you have ideas for a festive event that are rather out of the ordinary, the Augustiner team, headed by the chef de cuisine, Erwin Reusch, and the restaurant manager, Karin Krahl, will do their utmost to fulfil all the guests' wishes. The landlord and his wife, Simone and Peter Schmutzer, as well as the business assistant, Ms Hildebrand, would be only too glad to give you a helping hand with the planning.
