Here an original suit of the Beatles and there a brown leather belt once worn by the guitar-god Jimi Hendrix in person - such valuable and unique specimens can be viewed right close up in the annex of the worldwide well-known Hard Rock Café in Munich. Since 2002 Munich's Hard Rock Café has been located at the Platzl in the middle of the Old Town and directly opposite the Hofbräuhaus. A spacious restaurant together with a long bar tempts you to eat a meal here, drink cocktails and to join in cool parties. Regular concert events provide the appropriate rocking atmosphere appreciated not only by musicians.
Gourmets will also find what they want: whether tasty burgers, imaginative sandwiches or juicy steaks, the chef will inspire you with American and international specialities.
The restaurant, divided up into several areas, offers plenty of room for public and private events of all kinds. In the main restaurant there is room for up to 180 guests, while the LP-Lounge - about 30 persons - is very suitable for smaller parties. Concerts or standing receptions with as many as 550 guests are no problem. Whether company celebrations, product presentations or private parties and events of all possible kinds - in Munich's Hard Rock Café they know how to celebrate.
On the 14th June 1971, Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton opened their first Hard Rock Café in London. The recipe for success of decorating their premises with valuable memorabilia of legendary rock stars has in the meantime turned their Hard Rock Cafés into places of pilgrimage for fans in 42 countries. A permanent memento of the Hard Rock Café Munich is certainly the equally legendary and unmistakable classic T-shirt - which can be purchased in the Rock Shop until midnight on seven days a week - with the well-known Hard Rock Café logo above the names of the towns.
Keep on rocking!
