"Der Weyprechthof" in the district of Harthof in the north of Munich is a genuine Munich restaurant: in the early morning in the original parlour you can already smell the white sausages straight from the cauldron and freshly baked pretzels. Tasty titbits, informal hospitality and a large, shady beer garden provide the typical Bavarian "Gemütlichkeit", or relaxed atmosphere, at Weyprechthof, a family business.
At Weyprechthof the boss himself stands at the stove: with traditional fare and regional specialities he makes sure his guests do not go hungry. On the menu you will find original Bavarian dishes such as knuckles of pork, crispy sucking pig or roast duck with red cabbage and hand-made potato dumplings. There is plenty of room in the comfortable and original restaurant: up to 300 guests can eat in the open, bright hall, in the rustic bar parlour and in the room for dainty snacks
The premises are also suitable for festivities of all kinds and sizes – on these occasions the kitchen prepares cold dishes, lavish buffets and unusual menus according to the customers' wishes. In the summer and the winter, weather permitting, the customers can move over onto the large sun terrace, which offers an additional 300 places.
In the spacious and shady beer garden the guests may enjoy the food they have brought with them to a mug of cool beer, or fetch a crispy grilled fish, fresh obatzda (a local cheese spread) and radishes, or piping hot spareribs straight from the grill.Weyprechthof is also ideally suitable for an outing to a beer garden with the family: children can have a good romp before and after the meal in the house's own playground to their heart's content.
