Background information, details, external mentoring: mentoring for women

Commitment to mentoring programs
Mentoring is regarded as a singularly attractive tool to encourage women's career development. In Germany, however, a dearth of information and experience in this field have so far restricted the practice to just a handful of companies and isolated employees. To change this situation, the Department of Labor and Economic Development has undertaken a special commitment to mentoring and today actively promotes internal and external mentoring models in Munich.
