Special program to remedy unemployment and lack of qualifications among young people (JuSoPro)
This program launches new initiatives and projects to help young people who have insufficient qualifications and who therefore have problems on the labor market. It also takes account of changes on the demand side (i.e. among companies and training establishments). The program runs under the aegis of the Munich Employment and Qualifications Program (MBQ)..
Support is provided for projects in the fields of consulting, training, employment, vocational training and job placement that substantially help youngsters/young adults who are jobless and have few qualifications to become integrated in the working community.

Youth job exchange (model project)
This project is organized by the Department of Labor and Economic Development as part of the special program to remedy unemployment and lack of qualifications among young people. It develops concepts to support Munich's schoolchildren as they move from secondary education to vocational training. The concepts are put into practice at model schools.

MOVA project: mobilizing apprenticeships among foreign entrepreneurs
MOVA helps foreign employers to become recognized as providers of formal apprenticeships. The project works systematically to tap the potential inherent in non-native companies. It aims to increase these firms' awareness of the need for a solid base of well-qualified human resources. This in turn will ensure that sufficient experts are around in the long term to support the career development of young people.

Erasmus Grasser Prize
The City of Munich awards this prize to building/ancillary and/or craftsman's firms and companies that provide formal apprenticeships for exceptional commitment to vocational training – especially in relation to training for the handicapped, people with learning disabilities, foreign youngsters and girls moving into careers dominated by men.

The Youth-Education-Career workgroup
This workgroup is a coordinating body for the player's on Munich's labor and employment market. By maintaining a constant flow of information and experience, it aims to ensure that the measures needed to provide young people with suitable qualifications can be recognized, supported and coordinated from an early phase.
