Bank
The Deutsche Bank runs a cash point
in the range of the subway station Theresienwiese. At the main entrance
the Merkurbank is positioning ATM´s. A affiliate of the Reisebank can
be found beside the entrance Esperantoplatz. The exchange SecuriCon
puts up a cash point behind the post office.
Oktoberfest-tours
Everyone
who wants to provide an insight into the history of the Oktoberfest or
wants to look behind the scenes of this major event can book a tour
near the subway station Theresienwiese. By appointment (Event agency
Georg P. Huber, Tel: 089/ 23 23 900, www.wiesnführung.de) there are
special tours for school classes and groups of disabled people.
Lost and found
The
lost and found office is placed in the service center of the
Theresienwiese. Lost things can be found and found things can be
brought there. (

Baggage room
For
visitors who want to deposit bags for the lenght of the Oktoberfest
visit the BRK runs a baggage room at the subway station Theresienwiese.
It is also possible to leave a baby buggy there for a fee.
Child care & diaper-changing unit
The
children reference of the BRK and the Youth welfare office take care of
children which got lost in the disorder of the Oktoberfest. There are
also changing tables and places to feed babys.
Medical supply
The
Red-Cross concerns (BRK) are running accident and emergency departments
beside the Löwenbräu and Augustiner hall and also in the service-center
behind the Schottenhamel tent.
Security point
In
line with the campaign A Safe Oktoberfest for Girls and Women, the
service-center has created a contact point for insecure women. This
service is coached by skilled trainers of the AMYNA (Institue for
prevention of sexual abuse) and the IMMA (Initiative of womens
emergency and Girls youth work) initiative which help with words and
deeds.
Reservations
For places in
the beer tents the respective lead must be asked. A list of reservation
offices can be found on the internet at muenchen.de (

to the innkeepers there´s a huge demand for reservations. Many tents
are already overbooked but if there are cancelations of course
subsequent reservations are possible. For the tents of the Oktoberfest
during midday until 5pm. are still enough places left. Vouchers for the
14 festival halls are valid until 31. october and can also be converted
in the parent company.
German Post stand "Global Mail"
A
post office (Without services of a Post Office Bank!) has been opened
by Powerbrand marketing GmbH for the Oktoberfest visitors, so they can
send their greetings and souvenirs without any problems worldwide.
Taxiranks
For
the lenght of the Oktoberfest there are many taxiranks:
Bavariaring near the Brausebath - Theresienhöhe in the south of the old
fairplace - Theresienhöhe in the Bavaria-Area - Bavariaring at the
Pettenkoferstraße and the Beethofenstraße.
Telephone
A total of 47 telephones are avaiable for the visitors of the festival area.
Toilets
All toilet facillities are free at the Oktoberfest.
