Additional Oktoberfest exceptions:

There are two areas prohibited for motor homes: The immediate surroundings of the fairgrounds and the former parking ground in the Arnulfstrasse are strictly off-limits for motor homes. Daytime parking or driving through is also prohibited! However, for the duration of Oktoberfest, i. e., from September 20 through October 5, 2008, two parking lots are especially reserved for motor homes: one in the De-Gasperi-Bogen, and the other in the Siegenburger Strasse.

München-Riem
To reach this car park, take route A 99 or A 94 and take exit Kirchheim. Follow the signs “Messe/ICM”. The fairgrounds are about 20 minutes away by subway: take the U-Bahn 2 or U-Bahn 7 to Innsbrucker Ring and then the U-Bahn 5 to Theresienwiese.

For your own sake, we advise you to use the designated parking lots only. The police is extremely strict controlling these prohibited areas. If you’re not careful, your vehicle will be towed away and you will have to pay a fine!
