Never Fear the Krampus!
Introduction to the Krampus tradition for children
“Never Fear the Krampus” - this is the motto of the open join-in workshop on Dec 10th where children, starting at the age of six, learn about the Krampus tradition in a light-hearted way.
Members of the 1st Munich Krampus group Sparifankerl Pass and the team of the Munich Children’s Museum explain the tradition and custom of the Krampus goings-on to children (and adults) in a light-hearted way. Original masks and fur costumes are available to be touched and tried on. “Mini Kramperl” can be made from natural materials such as stone and wood to take home. Older children can artistically design Krampus mask collages. An information corner shows a photo exhibition about the Krampus group Sparifankerl Pass.
