Buckskin, goat and also deerskin, short, long or as knickerbockers: the selection of leather trousers is huge. The traditional costume store attaches importance to customary Bavarian handicraft customs, such as, for example, the use of old Bavarian embroidery or the chamois-dressing, i.e. the use of fish oils for the tanning which produce a very soft leather. Especially popular are also the "aged but dignified" leather trousers. The secret of the samples, which have, of course, never been worn, is an expensive process to make the leather trousers look as if they had already been worn for decades.
In the selection of its traditional style of costume the firm is modelled on current trends. This year the gentlemen are combining waistcoats with leather trousers in all variations: casual linen waistcoats with embroidery, classical waistcoats made of loden (thick woollen cloth) and fine silk brocade waistcoats. The colours gold, green and orange are this year's trend.
Dirndls, too, are available in different lengths, some with elegant embroidery and sparkling stones, as fresh cotton dirndls or as classical silk or brocade dirndls. To follow the trend select a dirndl in lilac, green, black and white or gold. Classics such as dark green, red and black are back in fashion. Feel free to wear something unusual: sequins, leopard and check prints ensure that the Angermaier dirndl will attract admiring glances.
