We are pleased that you have opted to use your professional qualifications in Germany and that you have chosen Munich as your place to live and work.

To make the first steps easier for you, we serve as a central point of contact and can support you in advance of your arrival. We can issue your residence permit and offer information and advice on:

  • Visa and entry
  • Immigration of family members
  • Working and living
  • School and studies

We also serve as your guide and can direct you to other departments or local authorities.

We are at your service:

We recommend that you contact us well in advance of your intended date of entry into Germany.

We will gladly reserve an appointment for your visit at our office after your arrival.

If you are planning your entry or should have any questions or if you would like to arrange an appointment, simply contact us using the contact form or per post.

We offer information and advice to:

  • Employers or service providers who want to employ qualified professionals and executive staff from abroad
  • Qualified professionals and executive staff from abroad and their family members (spouse or registered civil partner, children)

Qualified professionals usually have a completed apprenticeship, a university degree or an equivalent qualification.

This also includes for example, executive employees, specialists, self-employed persons, freelancers, commercially active persons, scientists, researchers, artists, professional athletes and sport-coaches.
