MVV Packerlbus - The Bus of Presents

It doesn’t drive but stands at the Jagd- und Fischereimuseum (Museum of Hunting and Fishing) on Kaufingerstraße.: The MVV Storage bus On the four Advent Saturdays, Christmas shoppers can temporarily leave their heavy bags between 11 am and 8 pm.

A new cutlery set, the pepper mill, a couple of DVDs and then also a cuddly sweater and the obligatory socks: this many Christmas presents can soon add up to a considerable weight. At least when you have to carry all your Christmas shopping through the packed city centre. The MVV Storage bus is here to help solving this problem. As in previous years, it is available free-of-charge for visitors to the inner city and will look after your heavy load of shopping until you’ve purchased the last package. The only requirement: You have to show a valid ticket from the MVV, DB, BOB, Alex or Oberbayernbus.

Location: Next to the Deutsches Jagd- und Fischereimuseum (German Museum of Hunting and Fishing) on Augustinerstrasse / end of Kaufingerstrasse
