No fear of the German bureaucracy - Part I

The German insurance system appears to be quite difficult, especially if you are an immigrant. That's why AMIGA decided to organize two seminars about this topic.

In the first session our topic will be the German's attitude towards insurances. Together we will discuss questions like:

  • Why are there so many insurances in Germany?
  • Why do Germans attach such a big importance  to insurances?
  • Which insurances are really essential in Germany?

The second session will be led by a professional insurance broker who will give you detailed information about the insurance system in Germany. His presentation focuses on the specific situation  of expats in Germany.

Successful 4th AMIGA Career event for International Professionals

Under the slogan “Active(Working) together in the Labor Market,” the AMIGA career event for international professionals took place in Munich for the fourth time on April 4th 2017. The event hosted about 350 visitors who took advantage of the opportunity to network with about 20 exhibiting companies alongside some of AMIGA’s cooperation partners.

The AMIGA career exchange event laid emphasis on International students, graduates, as well as professionals with foreign qualifications, seeking to make direct contact with companies and discuss their career opportunities in Munich. More importantly, the participants were able to have their Resume’s checked by experts from the Agentur für Arbeit. The Agentur für Arbeit also held talks and real time briefings with interested participants, informing them about training, further education opportunities and career paths for international professionals in Munich.

The fourth AMIGA career event for International professionals took place on April 4th 2017 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Berufsinformationszentrum (Employment Information Center, BIZ) of the Agentur für Arbeit(Employment Agency). Admission to the event was free of charge.
