Perfect relaxation not only on cold winter days: Munich’s gay saunas are popular meeting places of the gay community.

The Bathhouse in the Hotel Deutsche Eiche is one of the Munich gay scene's most popular meeting places. Distributed over four floors and almost 4,600 square feet, it offers a finnish sauna, a salt sauna, a whirlpool, a large steambath, shower area, massage rooms, a solarium, a rooftop garden, a Bistro & Bar, TV rooms, relaxation rooms, individual and exclusive booths as well as a cozy food and beverage area with Bavarian and international cuisine.

Opening times:
Monday to Friday from 12 pm to 7 am. Open continuously on weekends from Friday 12 pm to Monday 7 am.

Directions:
From the main station (Hauptbahnhof), the tram lines 16/18 go to Reichenbachplatz. It's less than 70 feet to the hotel from here. Or take the subway (U-Bahn) 1 or 2 to Fraunhoferstraße and cross KlenzeStraße to Gärtnerplatz (approx. 3 min).

Next to the main station (Hauptbahnhof) there is the Herrensauna, which is open from 11 am to 7 pm. On 140 square feet (sauna, booths and relaxation room) especially elderly gay men are taking time out.

The Schwabinger Men Sauna offers a finnish sauna, a steambath, a bio sauna, a infrared sauna, drinks and snacks. Opened daily from 3 pm to 1 am.
