One Young World 2021 Munich: renewed postponement
One Young World Munich will now take place in hybrid form from 22 - 25 July 2021.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the organizers of the One Young World Summit 2021 in Munich have decided to again postpone the event and hold it in a hybrid form from 22 - 25 July. As host city, Munich and its partners fully support this decision.
Clemens Baumgärtner, Head of the Department of Labor and Economic Development:
“I am delighted that the internationally renowned congress ‘One Young World’ will now take place in a very modern, hybrid form in summer 2021. At a time when the world faces huge challenges because of the COVID-19 virus, it is of vital importance that the One Young World Summit offers bright young talents and leaders a global platform to discuss current problems and the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. As an innovative, economically strong city with an excellent standard of living, Munich and its committed partners support this forward-looking congress, where international networks are formed and participants jointly seek solutions to the most pressing problems of our time.”
