Streetcar (Tram)
Streetcar lines N17, N19, N20 and N27 run all night.

Bus
Buses N40 - N45, N72 and N74 and the less frequent lines N80/N81 run all week at night in Munich. On weekends they are supplemented by lines N71 - N79.

Stops of the nightlines

In general, the nightlines follow the same routes as the subways and suburban trains. So you can assume that every U- or S-Bahn station in the city is served by a nightline or the line at least stops near it.

The nightlines stop at most of the city's party spots, i.e. where there is a lot going on at night, such as Sendlinger Tor or Odeonsplatz. The central stop for the nightlines, however, is Stachus (Karlsplatz). All night long, tram cars stop here, as do the N40 and N41 buses.

Travel times of the Munich nightlines

During the week, the nightlines run every hour between 1:30 and 4:30 am.

On the nights before Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, all nightlines run at half-hourly intervals, and the so called NachtTrams even run every 15 minutes in some sections.
