Taylor Swift: Everything about the concerts in the Olympic Stadium

No pop star has won as many awards and set as many records in recent years as Taylor Swift. Why this is the case could also be seen at the two shows on July 27 and 28, 2024 in Munich's Olympic Stadium and on the Olympiaberg: thousands of Swifties celebrated together here over the weekend.

Taylor Swift played two shows in the Olympic Stadium

Taylor Swift had long been a superstar in the USA before she hit the top of the charts in Germany for the first time in 2022 with her album “Midnights”. And she is now on the road with these tracks and songs from her new album “The Tortured Poets Department” after the originally planned tour had to be postponed due to coronavirus.

Swift is performing 152 shows worldwide on her “The Eras” tour, two of them in Munich. Thousands of “Swifties”, as the superstar's fans are known, will then create a great atmosphere in the Olympic Park.

By the way: at a concert in Seattle, seismographs registered earth tremors, especially during the songs “Shake It Off”, “Love Story”, “Bad Blood” and “Anti-Hero”, so euphoric were the fans at this performance. It will be interesting to see what happens in the Olympic Stadium...

Taylor Swift didn't just rock the Munich Olympic Stadium this weekend: thousands of Swifties also sang, danced and applauded to Taylor's songs on the Olympiaberg. In addition to the more than 70,000 fans in the stadium, around 40,000 people were said to have been there on the Olympiaberg and in the park on both evenings. The atmosphere remained extremely peaceful, however, and the Munich police also drew a very positive conclusion.
