MGV - Your Munich Guides

The beauty and significance of the city of Munich is unique. The Munich guest guides convey in an interesting and at the same time amusing way the exciting history, art and culture of this fascinating city. They offer individually coordinated tours in and around Munich in altogether 28 languages.

Almost 200 guides are organised in Munich Guests’ Guide Society, whose high quality is guaranteed by the training of the Munich Tourist Office, the extended tuition, the Further Training Certificate of the National Association of Guest Guides in Germany and by regular continuing tuition. They are the official guest guides of Munich, the capital of Bavaria.

Castles, churches and museums of the city, but also in the surrounding countryside, are discovered quite individually by the tour participants in the company of a guest guide. Special tours on such themes as “Modern Munich”, “Schwabing”, “Music Live” or “In the Footsteps of the Wittelsbachers” open up quite new insights and ways of seeing them. The Munich Guest Guides make history and stories come to life.
