The Königlicher Hirschgarten is idyllically situated in the middle of greenery. Right next door, fallow deer graze and the meadows around the beer garden invite you to play sports or relax.

The Königlicher Hirschgarten may be the largest beer garden in Munich. But it is almost never bursting at the seams. There is always a place to sit even on warm summer evenings.

For children, the Königlicher Hirschgarten offers, among other things, a carousel and a candy stand with sweets as further highlights, in addition to the adjacent animal enclosure.

Food and beverage: Special tradition of serving beer

The Königlicher Hirschgarten offers everything your heart desires: from O'gmachtem Kas to Bavarian sausage salad, crispy chicken to spare ribs, curry sausage or Schmalznudeln or Steckerlfisch, beer garden classics are served here.

Of course, you can also bring your own food and enjoy it in the Königlicher Hirschgarten.

By the way: On their first visit to the Königlicher Hirschgarten, many guests often experience a surprise when ordering their beer. Here, it is traditional for guests to fetch their own beer mugs from a cupboard at the bar and wash them out with cold water before having the fresh draft beer poured for them.
