A special ambiance, of course, calls for a special cuisine. At Augustiner am Dom “nature pure cooking” means offering regional products of top quality in an unadulterated and timeless fashion. All meals are served fresh and homemade daily. Chef Erwin Reusch uses products from the region, such as fresh brown trout from nearby Aumühle in the Isar valley and ducks from the Lugederhof farm. He also resorts to Augustiner’s own grainy mustard and Schmutzer's fiery red roast sausages. The appropriate beer to accompany these dishes is, of course, Augustiner lager or dark ale fresh from the barrel.

Another special feature of the inn is its very own magazine “Sapit - Munich Lifestyle and Culinary Specialties by Augustiner am Dom” issued by the innkeeper Peter Schmutzer. This publication presents photographs, recipes, stories about Munich and it reveals some tasty secrets from the kitchen.
All in all the unique, central location at the foot of Frauenkirche cathedral, the parlor furnished with enormous attention to detail, the traditional and natural cooking as well as the hard-working and obliging service team make Augustiner am Dom one of the coziest places in Munich.

•    Augustinerstube (Augustiner Parlor) - first floor (up to 85 persons)
•    Domblick (Cathedral View) – second floor (up to 100 persons)
•    Domgarten (Cathedral Garden) -- heated (up to 80 persons)
•    Domterrasse (Cathedral Terrace) – in summer up to 120 persons, in winter heated, up to 40 persons and also well-suited for smokers
