Information about the new small Oktoberfest tent and reservations
Bartls Flößerstadl
Bartls Flößerstadl will make its Oktoberfest debut in 2026. The small festival tent combines a roast duck and chicken restaurant with a design inspired by Munich’s tradition of timber rafting on the Isar River. Traditional music is played mainly at lunchtime, while Oktoberfest hits, pop, and rock are on the program in the evening.

Bartls Flößerstadl: Isar rafting tradition and Oktoberfest atmosphere
Plenty of wood, historic photographs, old oars, and other details recall Munich’s tradition of timber rafting on the Isar River. The facade and stage also incorporate the raft motif.
The connection to the Isar is no coincidence: Oktoberfest host Klaus Bartl and Christian Erhardt operate the Thalkirchen campsite on the site of the former central raft landing area.
The tent’s food focuses on poultry dishes. The menu includes grilled chicken, roast duck, and breaded fried chicken as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes. There is also a children’s menu and a street food counter. Augustiner Oktoberfest beer is served from wooden barrels.
At lunchtime, the bands mainly play Bavarian music and brass band music. Later in the day, the program switches to Oktoberfest hits, pop, and rock.
Reserving a table at Bartls Flößerstadl
Reservations can be made through the online booking system or by email. Tables seat eight or ten people. Some seats are also kept available for guests without reservations.
Bartls Flößerstadl opening hours
- Monday to Friday: 10 am to 11:30 pm
- Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays: 9 am to 11:30 pm
- Last drinks served and end of music: 11 pm
- On the opening day, beer may only be served after the official tapping ceremony.
