Bodos Cafézelt: New wooden festival tent with gallery
For Oktoberfest 2026, a completely new festival tent built with sustainable timber replaces the previous aluminum structure. The enlarged bar is now located on the gallery level, where an additional outdoor area provides more space. Another new feature is the covered street-side counter with seating and a professional espresso machine. The capacity remains unchanged at 587 guests, but the more open layout provides greater freedom of movement.
During the day, the focus is on homemade cakes, tortes, strudels, Auszogne — Bavarian fried pastries — and the well-known Kirschwasser doughnuts. Coffee, brunch, and savory Oktoberfest specialties are also available. In the late afternoon, the café turns into a cocktail bar, with drinks and changing live bands creating a lively party atmosphere.
The tent is named after confectioner Bodo E. Müller, who died in 2023. The proprietor, known as the “Doughnut King,” handed over his life’s work to his friend and business partner Otto Lindinger in 2014.

Reservations for Bodo's Café Tent for the Oktoberfest are possible for the evening via this online form (German). Table reservations are possible for groups of six or more. Reservation requests for the Mittagswiesn must be made by e-mail to info@bodos.de.
