Taste my burger
Taste my burger in Heßstraße has long since sizzled its way into the hearts of Munich's burger lovers, which is why it's often busy, especially at lunchtime. But that's not surprising with these great burgers. On the menu are more than 30 specialties: From the classic burger to the "Open Sesame" with homemade fig sauce, sesame paste and goat cheese. Each burger is made with 140 grams of beef. And the secret to the juicy patties? They are grilled on the lava stone.
- Tip: If you're spontaneously overcome by a monster appetite in the evening, simply double or even triple the patties.

Burger & Lobster Bank
You can trust this bank - as long as you're in the mood for a somewhat more luxurious burger evening in a dignified atmosphere.
The lobster in the name actually says it all, because the Burger & Lobster Bank not only serves classic burgers, but also very interesting surf'n'turf combinations with beef fillet, shrimp, buffalo mozzarella and arugula - or even half a grilled lobster. So this restaurant, located directly behind the Bayerischer Hof Hotel, is not for the faint of heart. But definitely recommended for a special evening.
- Tip: The Burger & Lobster Bank is also a good address for the very late hunger. Until 5:00 am, night owls are catered for here on weekends.

Ca-Ba-Lu
A small store with big confidence: The operators of Ca-Ba-Lu on Thierschplatz in the old town promise nothing less than the "Best Burgers in Town," which started in 2010 as a "CAfeteria-BAr-LUnch" - and has since turned into a bar with fantastic burgers and barbecue.
That's because the pepper wheat brioche buns are freshly baked by a baker, the patties are made from the best Aberdeen Angus beef, the sauces are homemade and the onions are caramelized. It comes with cole slaw and rosemary potatoes.
- Tip: It's best to try one of the 20 or so burgers and make up your own mind - it's worth it!

Hard Rock Café Munich
A good burger doesn't necessarily need a lot of gimmicks: If you prefer the American classics to exotic sauces and vegetarian patties, the Hard Rock Cafe serves a legendary steak burger, (double) cheeseburger or the BBQ bacon version.
Here you also find a well-stocked bar. The ultimate USA feeling is rounded off by the rocking ambience with modern light installations and unusual decorative highlights such as Slash's original guitar.
- Tip: In addition to juicy burgers, there are iconic souvenirs in the rock store and weekly live events.

M.C. Mueller Burgerclub
Good music, a party mood - and hearty organic burgers in the evening: At MC Mueller - self-described as "Munich's First Premium Burger Bar" - the burgers have cool names and sometimes come across a little differently: The "Dean Martin" burger , for example, is a little spicier because of the jalapenos and seasoned with a shot of whiskey. And the "Stenz", refined with smoked bacon and a little truffle oil, is not only enjoyed by self-absorbed Munich young men. The "Vegan's Best" burger with sweet potato patty is 100 percent plant-based.
- Tip: Everything is best enjoyed in the cozy backyard beer garden.

Ruff’s Burger & BBQ
Ruff's, which now has four locations in Munich, has been very popular with burger fans for several years. Classics like cheeseburgers and hamburgers are on the menu, as are the giggly burger with balsamic onions, the pastrami burger with homemade raw ham, and the old-bag burger with baby spinach, goat cheese, and mango chutney. For an extra charge, double burger meat pleasure is also available here for the big appetite.
- Tip: Belgian fries, garlic fries, truffle fries or chili fries are served with it. Solid stuff, all of it.

Which one should you go for: The spicy Texan, the delicate French or the hearty Bavarian? The multicultural burgers in global flavors are accompanied by fries or sweet potato sticks, for example.
At lunchtime, there's a discounted menu from half past eleven until three. By the way, the Hamburgerei also serves vegan and vegetarian options - and low-carbers can order all burgers without buns, but with more salad.

Holy Burger
For the perfect burger joint, you need good products (such as 100 percent organic meat) and creative ideas on how to put burgers together in a tasty way. Where both come together: at Holy Burger.
The range also includes vegetarian and vegan options - with patties made from chickpeas, black beans and beetroot. In addition, you can always choose between wheat and spelled buns.
- Tip: The "Holy Bim Bam," an ultimate meat tower made of three layers of meat. Divine assistance is requested when eating it.

Käppchen Burgergrill
Fairytale burgers, homemade and freshly fried, await the guest in Lindwurmstraße (Isarvorstadt district). Admittedly, the concept is a bit like that of the burger chain with the birch logs in the pub ("Hans im Glück"). But there are a few differences: the store is smaller and more familiar, the ingredients all come from Munich - and the boss himself is at the stove for the fry-up.
- Tip: Here, too, it doesn't always have to be beef. Vegetarians will also find imaginative combinations on the menu with truffle pesto and Brie cheese or sprouts with sweet chili.
